Community dig unearths the hidden stories of Hudswell

More than 50 volunteers from Hudswell and the local archaeology club came to explore the origins of Hudswell on Saturday 8th and 22nd July. Lead by local archaeologists, they investigated the land in front of the church.

What else was uncovered during the dig?

Camino Ingles

Local Hudswell residents joined 60 other pilgrims to walk from Finchdale Priory to Durham Cathedral.

This is the first stage of the Camino Ingles, which will eventually stretch from Finchdale to Southampton.
